The Challenge

In an industry like tourism, heavily influenced by social and geopolitical factors, and deeply marked by uncertainty and seasonality, relying solely on historical data for marketing strategy is insufficient. Predicting and understanding user behavior is crucial for business growth by capturing the opportunities presented by the sector’s recovery, which had already reached 88% of pre-pandemic levels by 2023.

The Approach

We integrated Vimana as a predictive solution for travelers’ interests to adapt campaigns, offering key
information to hotels, airlines, tour operators, and agencies for more efficient destination management, thereby increasing the number of bookings on media platforms.

We utilized direct channel information obtained through Google Analytics and Salesforce to link demand behavior with bookings, thus assisting in prioritizing destinations or routes with higher demand.

For demand prediction, we leveraged Google Cloud (Vertex AI) for model training, using our AI solution called ClaudIA. For generating insights and automatic reports, we utilized Gen AI from Vertex, although we validated with other LLM models like OpenAI’s.

Vimana’s insights can be automatically activated on major platforms such as Google Ads through Value Rules,
or Meta.
